The Equipe Capoeira Brasileira group was founded in 2004 with the alliance of ex-head members of Escola Brasileira de Capoeira group such as mestre Chumbinho, mestrando Peninha, professor Ajanã, professor Gaguinho, professor Cardeal, instrutora Smurfete, and many others. Our group gets its name from the bond of friendship that ties its founders. We emphasize on appropriate training methods based on the fundamentals of contemporary capoeira regional : mutual aid and team spirit, frank friendship, discipline, perseverance, humility, self respect and of others, confidence, etc. Our teachings allows our capoeiristas to gradually develop healthy body and mental to better adapt to the always evolving world of the capoeira community. This constitutes the guiding line of our philosophy of group.
